Our Commitment to Local Production
Our commitment to local production is unwavering. We are proud to produce our bars in Morganton, North Carolina. Whenever possible, we use local suppliers for our raw materials. We believe in Manufacturing's Rebirth In America and proudly support it.
Traditional Woodworking
Christopher is an old-school traditional craftsman. His passion for woodworking has led him from simple projects to building sets and props for amusement parks, special events, and commercial photo shoots. He developed a patented deck railing system and, most recently, home entertainment bars.
Crafting Tradition into Production
Bar U Topia was born in a traditional woodworking shop. The initial designs and prototypes were produced in Christopher’s personal workshop. The company is now integrating automation into the production processes to maximize economies of scale as the bars are now being introduced by various sales channels.
Our Process
New Features
We are constantly exploring new features and designs that come from customer feedback. Our goal is to provide the perfect home bar at an affordable price.
Models Created
Once a new design feature is flushed out, we reverse engineer the design in CAD to ensure individual component parts fit perfectly together.
Prototype Assembly
With final prints in hand, we then produce the first piece as a prototype to apply a variety of optional features such as countertop, side rails, and leather tiles across the front.
